Day 5 – Castle and Tobbogan Run

Today we had an early start because we had to catch a bus to this spectacular castle!

It looks like Hogwarts! Neuschwanstein Castle was never finished, what a shame as there was so much more to do. It was built in 1869 by King Ludwig II, what he did accomplish was amazing, however  he died under mysterious circumstances before it was finished. Unfortunately we couldn’t take any pictures inside, so here is us by the entrance instead.

After we visited a museum which taught us about all the kings of Balvaria. We eventually caught a bus at about 1 o’clock and went to a secret location – Dad said it was a suprise! When we arrived we were excited as we thought we were going on a cable car – but we weren’t. What we did do, however, was even better! We went on a summer toboggan run!!!
You push the lever forward to accelerate and speed down metal chutes. It was so much fun!!! Hannah and I had four goes each!
